Re-Grouting

Grout can become worn over time and lose its colour, sometimes even turning mouldy. The only answer is to rake out the old grout and re-apply new grout, this can be time consuming but is still a cheaper alternative to re-tiling.

Surface Preparation

We can assist with leveling uneven floors, ply lining or cement boarding over floorboards and removing your existing tiles. We can also recommend several very good plasterers who we regularly work with to provide you with a top quality service every time.

Ditra Matting

Schluter-DITRA is a polyethylene membrane with a grid structure of square cavities each cut back in a dovetail configuration, and an anchoring fleece laminated to it's underside. Designed for tile and natural stone installations, Schluter-DITRA serves as a waterproofing membrane, a vapour pressure equalisation layer to accommodate moisture occurring at the underside of the substrate, and an uncoupling layer for problematic substrates.

Tile Trims

External corners can cause problems with some types of tile but there is a solution, Tile bead or 'trim', as it's also known, can really make a difference. We strongly recommend using it anywhere there's an external corner as it not only provides a certain level of safety from those sharp edges, but can really give you that perfect finish and is available in many different styles and colours. Take a look and see some samples that we've provided.

Repair Work

We can help with loose or broken tiles, however its best for us to come out and have a look before deciding what needs to be done to remedy the problem, sometimes it can be a case of just breaking out the old tile and replacing it, other times we may need to remove all of the tiles and start again. Once we have seen the problem we will run through what needs to be done with you to provide you the best, cost-effective solution.

Grout Colours

We offer grout in twenty six different colours so we can really help you to achieve the look you are hoping for. We will ask you which colour you would like during the quote process if you already have your tiles otherwise we'll wait until we see the tiles before worrying about grout colours.

Silicone Sealant

We can also offer silicone sealant in twenty seven colours, which are designed to match the grout range and is also available in clear. The application of this particular service is already included as part of every quote to provide a perfect finish for every job we complete.
